Physical, Institutional and People-to-People Connectivity Projects in Southeast Asia
07 February 2016 – Edinburgh, UK – A new resource has been added to the PM World Library related to projects and project management in industries serving basic human needs. The new resource is titled “ASEAN Connectivity Project Information Sheets.”
This report describes three categories of connectivity projects in ASEAN (The Association of Southeast Asian Nations). First, the physical connectivity projects include construction of the ASEAN highway network, completion of rail link, power interconnection, shipping network and so on. Secondly, the institutional connectivity projects include ASEAN broadband corridor, ASEAN single window, ASEAN agreements on transport facilitation, etc. Lastly, the people to people connectivity projects include, but not limited to, visa exemption for ASEAN nationals, development of ASEAN virtual learning resources centers, community building program.
