ASQ Quality Glossary

Access to glossary of professional quality management terms from the American Society for Quality added to PMWL

20 December 2016 – Dallas, TX and Milwaukee, WI, USA - A new resource has been added to the PM World Library (PMWL) in the Glossaries and Dictionaries section.  The new resource is titled "ASQ Quality Glossary."

Program and project management professionals need to understand the meanings of PPM terms and phrases.  Knowledge of specialized acronyms and terms used for communications, contracting and procurement, finance and cost control, general management, leadership, quality, scheduling and time management, and other skills and functions used for program/project management can also be very useful.  This is especially true when crossing borders or industries.

The ASQ Quality Glossary is available from the American Society for Quality (ASQ). Every quality professional needs a handy reference of quality terms, acronyms and key people in the history of quality. This glossary derives from a variety of sources, including books, periodicals, Web sites and quality experts. ASQ (American Society for Quality) is a global community of people dedicated to quality; Headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, ASQ champions people passionate about quality in more than 140 countries.

To access this new resource, go to Glossaries section in the PMWL at https://pmworldlibrary.net/glossaries-and-dictionaries/, click on “Glossaries for Applications, Skills and Support Functions”, then scroll down “Quality Management” to find this resource.  Free access, but must be registered and logged in.
