New resource added to the Other Useful Information section of the PMWL

22 April 2019 – Dallas, TX and Washington, DC, USA – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library (PMWL) related to other useful information.  The resource is titled “The World Factbook” and is the section of the CIA’s website where maps and other geographic resources can be found.

The World Factbook provides information on the history, people, government, economy, geography, communications, transportation, military, and transnational issues for 267 world entities. Main Reference tabs includes: maps of the major world regions, as well as Flags of the World, a Physical Map of the World, a Political Map of the World, a World Oceans map, and a Standard Time Zones of the World map.

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is an independent U.S. government agency responsible for providing national security intelligence to senior US policymakers. The Director of the CIA is nominated by the president with the advice and consent of the Senate. The Director manages the CIA’s operations, personnel, and budget. CIA’s primary mission is to collect, analyze, evaluate, and disseminate foreign intelligence to assist the US President and senior US government policymakers in making decisions relating to national security.
