Australian expert simplifies stakeholder management in new article
20 March 2015 – Dallas, London, Sydney – Dr. Lynda Bourne, Managing Director of Stakeholder Management Pty Ltd in Melbourne, has authored another article about stakeholders entitled “Why Effective Stakeholder Management is Free”. Her newest article in a series on the general theme of program/project stakeholder engagement was published in the March edition of the PM World Journal and added to the PM World Library.
According to Dr. Bourne in this new article: “Stakeholder engagement is not an overhead and it is not discretionary! Your project is being done by one group of stakeholders for the benefit of another group of stakeholders. It is impossible to deliver a successful project without effectively engaging with your stakeholder community. The good news is the investment in stakeholder engagement is likely to be significantly less than the costs of dealing with problems and issues caused by not engaging with stakeholders effectively...”
