2 December 2015 – Milan, Italy – A new resource has been added to the PM World Library related to other information and economic data. The new resource is titled “2014 Global PPI1 Update” and is available from the World Bank.

151202 - World Bank GroupThe World Bank pursues its mission of reducing poverty and enhancing economic and social development in all countries supporting projects in those sectors that are strategic for countries’ growth. In this document, a wide database on projects is analyzed, with trends and figures identified and grouped into regions. These areas are Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), Europe and Central Asia (ECA), East Asia and Pacific (EAP), South Asia (SAR), Middle East and North Africa (MNA) and Sub-Saharan Africa (AFR). Key findings are an increase in private investment in infrastructure projects; a lower number of projects but more resources invested in them; and a steady but strong investment level in Brazil while the ones of China and India show a decrease.
