Access to some good advice from project managers added to PMWL
7 May 2017 – Almaty, Kazakhstan – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library (PMWL) related to lessons learned in project management. The new resource is titled “7 Tips for Project Management Success in 2017”.
This article shows useful techniques and methods, application of which will result in more successful and effective project management. Those are improving time management using convenient PM software, constant interaction with stakeholders, effective teamwork, preventive actions to eliminate future risks, choosing projects with realistic scope of work, thinking of project restrictions and finally to keep increasing competence in project management. The article also provides a brief overview of the study published by Procedia Technology related to the influence of communication skills on success in project management. The study examined over 300 construction project managers, architects, construction managers, engineers and quantity surveyors and their successes and failures on various construction projects.
