01 August 2018 – Mumbai, India – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library (PMWL) related to project control. The new resource is titled “9 Steps To Regaining Project Control”, by Brad Egeland and published in PM Times in 2015.

The resource’s main focus is on the nine steps that can be taken to help a manager take back control of the project. According to the author, some or all of these will work – at least to some degree – for any type of sizeable project issue you might be facing. Of course, it isn’t necessary to take every issue to senior management, involve all stakeholders in the analysis and decision making processes, or even notify your project client concerning every issue that arises. But significant issues that arise – and that’s the assumption here…that we are dealing with something significant and potentially project course altering – are going to involve most or all of these steps to some degree

To access this new resource, go to the Applications and Hot Topics section of the library at https://pmworldlibrary.net/applications-and-topics/, click on “Project Controls”, scroll down to resource. Must be a registered member and logged-in to access.
