8 February 2018 – Mumbai, India – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library on the subject of project management in the pharmaceutical industry. The new resource is titled “Complexity of Project Management in the Pharmaceutical Industry” and is a conference paper by Asima Pattanaik published by the Project Management Institute in 2014.

Project management in the pharmaceutical industry is becoming more popular. The risks associated with every stage of developing a new product is to be managed effectively. Integration of risk management into product development is a key to reducing time and cost. It is also the project management team’s responsibility to be the face of the host company to the customer.
