Access to Expert Commentary on construction project management from IRMI addedd to PMWL

23 June 2016 – Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria – A new resource has been added to the PM World Library related to construction project management. The new resource is titled “Construction Project Risk Management”.

Construction projects are complex and require a general understanding of design, construction, and management techniques.  The International Risk Management Institute (IRMI), based in the USA, offers a useful overview of some major aspects of construction project management in their expert commentary section of their website under the general heading of construction project risk management

Project management has systems to ensure the building will get built within the contractual timeframe. These systems include tools to control the flow of information among the parties to ensure the adequate and timely availability of material, manpower, and equipment.
