28 March 2018 – Mumbai, India – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library on the subject of project Contract/ Procurement Management. The new resource is titled “EU-funded Project Management in the Context of Suppliers and Contractors Selection”.

This publication from the 7th International Conference on Engineering, Project, and Production Management in 2017 by Tadeusz A. Grzeszczyk, Błażej Czajkowski highlights the major issues related to EU co-financed project management in the context of suppliers and contractors’ selection and performs their synthetic analysis. The research methods incorporated are European projects observation, comparative study, literature and documentary analysis. Thorough analysis on determining contract value, analyzing incurring expenses model, correct way to spread request for proposal was done. Based on this, all the aspects to be considered are detailed. The results of the analysis verify the thesis that the problems associated with implementation of projects co-financed with public funds far outweigh the difficulties faced by entrepreneurs implementing different types of projects.
