15 August 2017 – Rome, Italy – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library related to the Security of Project Data, Information and Systems. The new resource is titled Factor Analysis of Information Risk (FAIR) Institute. The site is full of resources for project managers and information technology professionals.

Factor Analysis of Information Risk (FAIR) has emerged as the standard Value at Risk (VaR) framework for cybersecurity and operational risk. The FAIR institute is a non-profit professional organizational dedicated to advancing the discipline of measuring and managing information risk. The following are objectives of FAIR institute:

  • Provide information risk, cybersecurity and business executives with the standards and best practices to help organizations measure, manage and report on information risk from the business perspective.
  • Focus on innovation, education and sharing of best practices to advance FAIR and the information risk management profession.
