Global Citizen

Access to Global Citizen website added to PMWL in new Solving Global Problems section

8 January 2018 – Dallas, London, Sydney – Access to a major new resource has been added to the PM World Library related to solving global problems.  The resource is called “Global Citizen”, a social action platform for those who want to help solve the world’s biggest challenges.

Global Citizen is headquartered in New York, with offices in Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom. The organization was co-founded by Hugh Evans, Simon Moss, Wei Soo in 2008. The Global Citizen platform was co-founded with Ryan Gall and Riot House in 2012.  On their platform you can learn about issues, take action on what matters most and join a community committed to social change. We believe we can end extreme poverty by 2030, because of the collective actions of Global Citizens across the world.

Through their mix of content and events, grassroots organizing and extensive reach through digital channels, Global Citizen is building the world’s largest movement for social action. They organize massive global campaigns to amplify the actions of Global Citizens from around the world. Global citizen initiatives are programmes and projects with massive impacts.

To access this resource, go to https://pmworldlibrary.net/solving-global-problems/, select “Global Initiatives”, scroll down to Global Citizen. Free access to all.
