Access to information about integrated assurance process for programmes and projects in Northern Ireland added to PM World Library

10 September 2017 – Belfast, Northern Ireland – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library (PMWL) related to public project management.  The resource is titled “Integrated assurance process for programmes and projects in Northern Ireland” and is available from the Department of Finance, government of Northern Ireland, UK.

In line with the UK Cabinet Office, Infrastructure and Projects Authority (IPA), Northern Ireland has adopted a tailored version of the Integrated Assurance Process (IAP). In Northern Ireland the following components are now part of the wider NI programme and project IAP: Starting Gate; NI Gateway™ Review; Project Assessment Review (PAR); and Assurance of Action Plans (AAP). Full discussion is included of the NI Gateway Review Process, a series of independent peer reviews at key stages of a programme or project lifecycle aimed at ensuring successful delivery.

To access this resource, go to the Public P/PM resources section of the PMWL at https://pmworldlibrary.net/public-ppm-resources/, click on “UK Agencies and Organizations”, click on Regional Governments, then scroll down to Northern Ireland.  Must be registered and logged-in as Free Trial, Professional or Scholar member to access.
