24 March 2018 – Southampton, UK – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library (PMWL) related to Major Projects and Programs. The new resource is titled “Investigation of the FATİH project”, a paper by Gok Ali and Yıldırım Zahide and published in August 2015 by Mersin University Journal of the Faculty of Education.

The Movement to Increase Opportunities and Technology or Fatih Project is a project initiated by the Turkish government in 2010 to integrate state-of-the-art computer technology into Turkey's public education system. The authors of this paper aimed to provide detailed and appropriate examination about the FATİH project to recognise opinions, expectations and worries from different stakeholders. Therefore, this paper includes the views of Teachers, School Administrators and YEGITEK (General Manager of Innovation and Educational Technologies) Administrators.  The study sought to learn whether the project will reach success or not and to give different approaches to fix weak points of the project if it has.
