27 June 2017 – Almaty, Kazakhstan – A new resource has been added to the PM World Library related to Agile project management. The new resource is titled “Is Agile Project Management Fit for Small Tech Start-Ups?” This article by Priti Asthana was posted on the Scrum Alliance community website.

There is a belief that Agile principles can be applied mostly to large projects and groups of people.  However how does it work with small companies and projects? The article gives overview, key principles and approaches (mainly Scrum and extreme programming) of agile management that enable effective implementation of a project. Also, the author looks at applicability of Agile in small enterprises, showing that they usually face cost and time constraints that can make some Agile practices challenging to manage.

To access this new resource, go to the Applications and Hot Topics section of the PMWL at https://pmworldlibrary.net/applications-and-topics/, click on “Agile Project Management’, scroll down to the Articles and Blog Posts section. Must be a registered and logged in member to access.
