Access to new resource related to the project management profession added to PMWL

12 December 2018 – Almaty, Kazakhstan – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library (PMWL) related to the project management profession.The new resource is titled Kazakhstan Project Management Association (KPMA)and a member association of the International Project Management Association (IPMA).

Kazakhstan Project Management Association (KPMA) performs consulting, educational and certification activities of experts and companies. The association is a national branch of the International Project Management Association (IPMA). Since its opening in 2003, the association has been promoting the development of Project Management (PM) in the Republic of Kazakhstan and regulatory support in the field of PM, collaborating with international organizations, adapting world experience, PM methodologies and tools, and creating a national PM culture.

KPMA carries out level certification (levels A, B, C, D) of specialists; conducts seminars and trainings on separate areas of PM; develops certification documents (NCB-3.0, NCRG, QM); licenses training companies; certifies companies, conducts the master-classes on PM issues; helps to universities in promotion the speciality «Project Management».

One of the most memorable events for Kazakhstan was the anniversary 30th IPMA World Congress, which took place on September 5-7, 2017 in Astana.
