16 February 2018 – Southampton, UK – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library on the subject of Public Project and Program Management Resources. The new resource is titled “NASA Space Flight Program and Project Management Handbook” and is a 2014 handbook prepared by NASA Office of the Chief Engineer.

The handbook represents the accumulation of knowledge NASA gleaned on managing program and projects coming out of NASA’s human, robotic, and scientific missions of the last decade. With inputs from the compilation of best practices and lessons learned from various sources, “handbook is a codification of the “corporate knowledge” for existing and future NASA space flight programs and projects”. The handbook also provides additional details on the cost and schedule estimates, probabilistic assessments, and earned value management as it applies at NASA.

To access this new resource, go to Public P/PM Resources section of the library at https://pmworldlibrary.net/public-ppm-resources/, click on “USA Agencies and Organizations”, then click on US National Government Organizations, then click on NASA. Scroll down to resource. Must be a registered and logged in Trial, Professional or Scholar member to access.
