11 June 2016 – Zagreb, Croatia – A new resource has been added to the PM World Library related to BIM and Project Management. The new resource is titled “NBS BIM Toolkit.”

The National Building Specification (NBS) is a UK-based system of construction specification used by all parties involved in construction process. It is owned by Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). The NBS webpage is regularly updated and you can find a lot of reports, articles regarding not just BIM, but also about contracts and law, sustainability, design, etc. Topic of interest is BIM of course, so there’s a lot to find about BIM/BIM Level 2.

160611 - Plecas - NBS BIM LogoThe NBS BIM Toolkit is an easy, free toolkit for delivering BIM Level 2 projects. It provides step-by-step help to define, manage and validate responsibility for information development and delivery at each stage of the asset lifecycle. Clients and asset managers, designers and construction team, construction managers – it is intended to help anyone. It allows you to define information requirements, manage the delivery of information and it is a comprehensive set of defined templates. NBS offers support and training for using the Toolkit. To start using Toolkit for your projects, you just have to register, under tab Projects, find Create a new project and follow prepared steps.

To access this new resource, go to the Applications and Hot Topics section of the library at https://pmworldlibrary.net/applications-and-topics/, click on BIM and Project Management, scroll down to Guides, Requirements and Standards to find the resource. Must be a registered member and logged-in to access.
