Top-Down Paradigm on Legacy Planning: A Case Study of Expo 2010 Shanghai China

29 January 2016 – Edinburgh, UK – A new resource has been added to the PM World Library related to major projects. The new resource is titled “Planning Mega-Event Built Legacies – A Case of Expo 2010.”

160129 - Setiawan - WORLD EXPO 2010This research identifies mixed impact of top-down paradigm on mega-event built legacies. The Expo 2010 in Shanghai, China was used as a case study. Data was sourced from observations, documentation reviews, meetings and interviews during the period of 2004 to 2015. Based on this research, a new categorization from legacy perspective is proposed. Also, a set of legacy planning guidelines are recommended.
