20 May 2016 – Zagreb, Croatia – A new resource has been added to the PM World Library on the subject of Risk Management. The new resource is titled “Professional Risk Managers' International Association - PRMIA”.

The Professional Risk Managers' Association (PRMIA) is a non-profit professional association, established in 2002 by a volunteer group of risk industry professionals in Minnesota, USA. It is governed by a Board of Directors directly elected by its global membership. PRMIA provides an open forum for the development and promotion of the risk profession and is dedicated to defining and implementing the best practices of risk management through education.  PRIMA has 45 chapters active in nearly every major financial center in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia which provide an extensive and engaged network of risk professionals.

Executive staff and board members can take advantage of the PRMIA C-Suite, which connects a global network of Chief Risk Officers and the most senior risk professionals. They also provide risk certifications and certificates - Professional Risk Manager Designation, Associate PRM Certificate and Operational Risk Management Certificate. PRMIA Publications provide access to high quality and relevant writing for professional risk managers. Members have access to a wealth of online resources including a Jobs Board. They organize online, customized and classroom risk trainings, webinars and events.
