24 February 2018 – Mumbai, India – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library (PMWL) related to project management of major infrastructure projects. The new resource is titled “Project Management Evolution to Improve Success in Infrastructure Projects”, a 2017 paper published in Management Dynamics in the Knowledge Economy by Crystal Cole.

The resource’s main focus is on the infrastructure megaprojects industry (IMPI). The paper studies the various problems faced by these projects from the perspective of a project manager and what are the possible fixes for this. This paper was compiled with data gathered from multiple past IMPI projects to extrapolate the future of this industry and where exactly the evolution of project management is necessary.

To access this new resource, go to the major projects section of the library at https://pmworldlibrary.net/major-projects-programmes/, click on “infrastructure projects / programmes”, scroll down to resource. Must be a registered trial, professional or scholar member and logged-in to access.
