17 July 2017 – Vienna, Austria – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library related to project management in the legal field. The new resource is titled “Project Management in International Arbitration”; it was published in the McGill Journal of Dispute Resolution and authored by Ben Giaretta.

This article explains how management of arbitration proceedings under the UNCITRAL Rules does not only relate to saving time and costs. It aims at enhancing the managerial capabilities of arbitrators. According to the author, over and under-delivery of arbitral services can be avoided if arbitrators use project management techniques to ensure that the parties’ wishes are respected. Therefore, arbitrators should be assessed based on the effort and their capability to use PM skills in the proceedings.

To access this new resource, go to the Industries and Organizations section of the library at https://pmworldlibrary.net/industries-and-organizations/, click on “Legal Field”, scroll down to resource.
