Access to Canadian charity for the homeless added to PMWL in new Solving Global Problems section
31 January 2018 – Ontario, Canada – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library related to solving global problems. The resource is called “Raising the Roof” and is a Canadian charity that provides assistance to homeless people in Ontario and nationwide.
Launched in 1996 by members of the Canadian Non-Profit Housing Foundation, Raising the Roof is a national charity dedicated to finding long-term solutions to homelessness. The organization provides national leadership on long-term solutions to homelessness through partnership and collaboration with diverse stakeholders, investment in local communities, and public education. They work towards a day when all Canadians have access to a safe and stable home, with the support to achieve their potential.
