5 February 2018 – Southampton, UK – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library on the subject of project management in the Marine, Shipping and Sea Transport Industries. The new resource is titled “Relationship between Project Governance and Project Performance: A Multiple Case Study of Shutdown Maintenance Projects in a Maritime Environment” and is a 2008 research prepared by Sankaran, Remington & Turner published as part of 2008 PMI Global Congress Proceedings.

Research focuses on how project governance may contribute to project performance in a maritime project environment. With inputs from a literature review and multiple case studies from several projects within the marine organizations, this conference paper shows the role of project governance in relation to the performance of selected shutdown maintenance projects in a maritime environment.
