Access to research work on adding security to software life-cycle activities by Robert J. Ellison added to PMWL

29 June 2017 – Rome, Italy – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library related to the Security of Project Data, Information and Systems. The new resource is titled Security and Project Management. This research work was published by Robert J. Ellison on United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT) website.

As observed by the author, software errors can be introduced by disconnects and miscommunications during the planning, development, testing, and maintenance of the components. The likelihood of disconnects and miscommunications increases as more system components have to satisfy security requirements. Project managers should consider the additional communications requirements, linkage among life-cycle activities, and the political usage environment as these items relate to security needs.

To access this great resource, go to the Applications and Hot Topics section of the library at https://pmworldlibrary.net/applications-and-topics/, scroll down and click on “Security of Project Data, Information and Systems”. Must be a registered member and logged-in to access.
