12 July 2017 – Rome, Italy – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library related to the Software Project Quality, Risk and Security. The new resource is titled “The Influence of System Properties on Software Assurance and Project Management.” This is research work by Robert J. Ellison published on the United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT) website.

The author infers the following: that certain characteristics of software assurance should be managed. The scope and size of the system are obvious attributes to consider. A large system is built by first decomposing it into pieces that are more easily managed. Project management decisions often influence how that decomposition is done, and the resulting impact on software assurance and risks.

To access this great resource, go to the Applications and Hot Topics section of the library at https://pmworldlibrary.net/applications-and-topics/, scroll down and click on “Security of Project Data, Information and Systems”. Must be a registered member and logged-in to access.
