U.S. DOE Office of Project Management

Access to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Project Management added to the PMWL

30 October 2018 – Washington, DC, USA – Access to a new public project management resource has been added to the PM World Library.  The resource is titled “U.S. DOE Office of Project Management” and provides a direct link to the Office of Project Management at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), a source of many resources for managing large projects.

The Office of Project Management (PM) was established in July 2015 to be the Department of Energy’s Enterprise Project Management Organization (EPMO), providing leadership and assistance in developing and implementing DOE-wide policies, procedures, programs, and management systems pertaining to project management, and independently monitors, assesses, and reports on project execution performance. The office validates project performance baselines–scope, cost and schedule–of the Department’s largest construction and environmental clean-up projects prior to budget request to Congress—an active project portfolio totaling over $30 billion. The office also serves as Executive Secretariat for the Department’s Energy Systems Acquisition Advisory Board (ESAAB) and the Project Management Risk Committee (PMRC).

To access this resource, go to the Public P/PM Resources section of the PMWL at https://pmworldlibrary.net/public-ppm-resources/, click on “USA”, then on “U.S. National Government Agencies”, then “Department of Energy”, then scroll down to title. Must be registered as Free Trial or Member and logged-in to access.
