UK Government Standard: Project Delivery

Access to UK Government Functional Standard for public Project, Programme and Portfolio Delivery added to the PMWL

17 November 2020 – London, UK – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library related to public P/PM resources in the United Kingdom.  The resource titled “GovS 002: Project Delivery” is a government national standard developed by the Infrastructure and Projects Authority.

The purpose of this government standard is to set expectations for the direction and management of portfolios, programmes and projects ensuring value for money and the successful, timely and cost-effective delivery of government policy and business objectives. It applies to all government portfolios, programmes and projects:• in all departments and arm’s length bodies • ranging from those listed in the Government Major Project Portfolio (GMPP) through to those at local business level• whether for digital, infrastructure, transformation, service delivery, military capability, property, regulatory compliance or other purposes • regardless of delivery methodology or technique used.
