SANS Information Security Glossary

Access to glossary of terms from one of the world’s leading internet security cooperative added to PMWL

10 December 2016 – Dallas, TX and Washington, DC, USA - A new resource has been added to the PM World Library (PMWL) in the Glossaries and Dictionaries section.  The new resource is titled "SANS Information Security Glossary."

The SANS Information Security Glossary is available from the SANS Institute, established in 1989 as a cooperative research and education organization and whose programs now reach more than 165,000 security professionals around the world. A range of individuals from auditors and network administrators, to chief information security officers are sharing the lessons they learn and are jointly finding solutions to the challenges they face. At the heart of SANS are the many security practitioners in varied global organizations from corporations to universities working together to help the entire information security community. SANS develops, maintains, and makes available at no cost, the largest collection of research documents about various aspects of information security, and it operates the Internet's early warning system.

To access this new resource, go to Glossaries and Dictionaries section in the PMWL at https://pmworldlibrary.net/glossaries-and-dictionaries/, click on Glossaries for Other Professions and Industries, and scroll down to find the resource.  Free access, but must be registered and logged in.
