Energy Saving, Implementation of Solar Energy and Other Renewable Energy Sources for Energy Supply in Rural Areas of Russia
24 March 2016 – Milan, Italy – A new resource has been added to the PM World Library related to renewable energy projects. The new resource is titled “Energy saving, Implementation of Solar Energy and Other Renewable Energy Sources for Energy Supply in Rural Areas of Russia”.
Presented at the International Conference on Technologies and Materials for Renewable Energy, Environment and Sustainability (TMREES 15), this paper analyses project management and implementation strategies for solar energy and energy saving initiatives in rural areas of Russia. It is especially about large-scale, stage-by-stage projects and it takes into account regional, climatic, socio-economic and technical factors. Another criticality addressed is the low population density in the areas observed, with consequences on the actual projects implementation. Finally, the author utilizes a methodology for the assessment of energy supply from rural buildings and finds a set of objectives, strategies and performance measurement indicators.
