Joanna Cewińska, PhD, Professor at the University of Łódź, is a researcher and lecturer specialising in human resource management, human behaviour in organisations, dysfunctions in human resource management, sustainable work. She is employed at the Department of Strategy and Enterprise Value Management at the Faculty of Management, University of Łódź. She teaches courses in human resource management, human resource management strategies and programmes, business leadership and social research methods. She has conducted research and published articles on sustainable work, sustainable employability, lifestyle as a factor in team diversity, human resource management in sports clubs, women in management including sports organisations, dysfunction in human resource management. She is the manager of the interdisciplinary IDUB project entitled: Sustainable work in the context of the human life cycle in the perspective of social sciences, humanities, natural sciences, health and physical culture - opportunities and threats. He is interested in issues of humanisation and dehumanisation of work in relation to the use of new technologies in human resource management. She directs Postgraduate Studies in Human Resource Management. She is a member of the Editorial Board of the journal Human Resource Management at the Institute of Labour and Social Policy.
