Trevor Mpatsi

A Chartered Construction Manager & Builder by profession, Trevor Mpatsi has worked extensively within the Southern African region, and completed a number of projects in Mozambique, Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa. Trevor has amassed a wealth of technical and managerial experience to date, and has been recognised as a programme and project management practitioner in the built environment. He is currently employed as a Construction Project Manager in Johannesburg.
In his career as a Project Manager, Trevor has been engaged as a Project Manager within the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) New Universities project team, Capital Projects Programme at the University of Witwatersrand and in the commercial and retail sector executing various construction projects. Trevor has been instrumental in driving the technical and quality management assurance processes within the programme of projects he is involved with. In his various roles he has driven the application of best practice measures that have enabled and facilitated an environment where the project stakeholders are encouraged to work for the benefit of each other, taking into consideration the project objectives.
He has served as the Chairman for the Chartered Institute of Builders (CIOB) in Gauteng, a council member for the CIOB Africa region and is a committee member in the Construction Management Development Committee. Trevor can be contacted at trevorkm@yahoo.co.uk
