Dr. Alina Ndeapo Uugwanga

Ogongo, Omusati Region, Namibia

 

 

 

Dr. Alina Ndeapo Uugwanga hails from Ogongo in the Omusati Region of Namibia. She holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Namibia, complemented by a Master of Arts in Economic Policy Management from the University of Zambia (UNZA). Dr. Uugwanga achieved her Doctor of Philosophy in Business and Management from UNZA. Her areas of research are housing, public policy, corporate social responsibility, local economic development, international trade and entrepreneurship.

Currently, Dr. Uugwanga serves as a Settlement Administrator at Ogongo Settlement under the Management of the Omusati Regional Council. Her core functions involve in facilitating the allocation of plots to potential investors for housing, businesses and institutions to promote local economic development.In her earlier role as the second Regional Economic Development Planner for the Omusati Regional Council, she gained valuable experience in formulating and implementing strategies for sustainable economic growth in the region.

Dr. Uugwanga’s academic and professional background equips her with the necessary expertise to provide insightful reviews on scholarly and research articles within her field of specialization. She is passionate about contributing to the advancement of knowledge and practices that drive economic development and public welfare in Namibia and beyond.
