23 April 2020 – Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library (PMWL) related to project management careers and jobs. The new resource is titled “5 Ways to Launch your Project Management Career” and is an article by Moiera Alexander and posted on the TechRepublic website in 2018.

This resource emphasizes five (5) steps to kick off a project management career in the right path, either as one trying to figure out if it is a right career path or if it has already been chosen as a career path. They are as below:

  1. Identify your interests
  2. Compile a list of your best skills and attributes
  3. Identify job aspects that may make a PM career rewarding and those that may not
  4. Research project management roles
  5. Look into career options

After considering the above steps, one can better decide if truly project management is the right career path for you.

To access this new resource, go to the Project Management Career and Jobs section of the library at https://pmworldlibrary.net/ppm-careers-and-jobs/, click on “Project Management Careers”, and scroll down to resource. Must be a registered trial, student or full member and logged-in to access.
