29th April 2024 – Mumbai, India – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library (PMWL) related to Artificial Intelligence Enabled Project Management. The new resource is titled “Artificial Intelligence Enabled Project Management: A Systematic Literature Review”, by Ianire Taboada, Abouzar Daneshpajouh, Nerea Toledo and Tharaka de Vass and published in Applied Sciences in April 2023.

This paper examines the role of artificial intelligence in emerging project management through a systematic literature review; applications of AI techniques in the project management performance domains are presented.

The article talks about how artificial intelligence (AI) is being used in project management, especially in construction projects. It explains how AI helps with different aspects of managing a project, like predicting risks, making schedules, estimating costs, and solving problems. The article mentions various studies that show how AI can make project management more efficient and effective.

For example, AI can help predict when a project might be delayed, identify safety issues, and decide how to use resources better. The article also talks about how AI can improve decision-making in project management. It says that AI has a lot of potential to change how projects are managed and to make them more successful. Finally, it suggests that more research is needed to explore how AI can be used even more effectively in the construction industry.
