Access to new resource related to an organizational transformation program in the transport industry in Kazakhstan added to PMWL

23 October 2018 – Almaty, Kazakhstan – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library (PMWL) related to program management in the Transportation sector in Kazakhstan. The new resource is titled “Business Transformation Programme of JSC “National Company “KTZ”, by “JSC “NC “KTZ”.

Today NC KTZ JSC conducts rail and maritime transportation services, services of the transport and logistics centers and also services of seaport, airport and road infrastructure. The company implements infrastructure projects within the “Nurly Zhol” state program, participates in implementation of the Plan of the nation “100 concrete steps”, continues to modernize transport assets, increases the dry-cargo and ferry fleet, participates in institutional development of the international transport passages, and elimination of not physical barriers at implementation of transportations.

Enhancement of the Company’s value will be achieved by the implementation of the Program Management and Project Management, Risk management, Resource management. This program includes the following projects: Integrated Planning System (IPS), Optimization of the stock management, Procurement category management, Implementation of the core enterprise management processes, Optimization of the business processes for GWS supply, Implementation of the new model of marketing and sales, Implementation of the new model for occupational safety management (SAP EHSM), Implementation of the new model for maintenance and repairs (M&R) management.
