Class Central MOOC portal

Access to one of world’s largest massive open online course portal added to PMWL

31 December 2017 – Dallas, TX, USA – Access to a major educational resource has been added to the PM World Library (PMWL).  The new resource is titled "Class Central” and is an online information portal for free online college courses and open education resources.

Class Central is a giant curated catalog of MOOCS spread across different online course providers. The focus is on quality, with every MOOC manually categorized and tagged. You can either search for a MOOC or browse courses based on your interests. They also have tens of thousands of reviews written by learners. These reviews are there to help you figure out if a MOOC is right for you. Over six million learners have used Class Central to decide which online course to take.

“MOOC” stands for Massive Open Online Course. Usually these online courses are taught by universities all around the world (e.g. Stanford, Princeton, UC San Diego, Yonsei University, Leiden University, and over 700 other such universities). Other MOOCs are created by companies, like Google or Microsoft.

To access this great resource, go to PPM education section in the PMWL at click on “Free Online Courses”, and scroll down to find the resource.  Free but must be registered and logged in to access.
