30 March 2016 – Milan, Italy – A new resource has been added to the PM World Library related to Teamwork and Team Leadership. The new resource is titled “Conflict Resolution to Project Performance”.

Presented at the 28th IPMA World Congress (Rotterdam, September 2014), this paper finally published in Procedia in July 2015 provides general frameworks for stakeholders management and, especially, conflicts resolution in projects. Both academic and business world sources provided data that allowed authors to test their hypotheses about the links between conflicts resolution and project performance. The results point out that indeed the project manager’s role and the source of problems play a major part in these dynamics, as expected. Furthermore, project managers appear to be prone to use since the beginning a confronting and compromising method, thus highlighting how the degree of responsibility actually influences the team’s issues resolution.

To access this new resource, go to the Applications and Hot Topics section of the library at https://pmworldlibrary.net/applications-and-topics/, click on “Teamwork and Team Leadership”, scroll down to resource.  Must be a registered member and logged-in to access.
