The new resource is titled “Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions” and is a gathering of religious leaders organized by the President of Kazakhstan to promote peace and nonviolence.

At the present time, there are more than 100 representatives of ethnic groups and 18 faiths living in peace and harmony in Kazakhstan. According to Nursultan Nazarbayev, at the 1st congress, in order to surmount actual problems and threats such as violence, religious extremism and terrorism, it is essential to establish and contribute the dialogue between the leaders of world and traditional religions, based on trust and mutual understanding.
