Access to risk management society in Europe added to PM World Library

31 March 2016 – Zagreb, Croatia – A new resource has been added to the PM World Library on the subject of Risk Management. The new resource is titled “Federation of European Risk Management Associations - FERMA.

160331 - Crnkovic - FERMA LOGOThe Federation of European Risk Management (FERMA) was founded in 1974 and has become a leading organization for risk management in Europe.  It was established under its previous name of European Association of Insureds of Industries (AEAI) as an international association with the aim of exchanging ideas and experiences. Their members are risk and insurance professionals responsible for risk management in their organizations, whether in the public or private sector.

FERMA promotes communication among its members and also within International Federation of Risk and Insurance Management Associations (IFRIMA) of which FERMA is a member. FERMA works with numerous educational bodies in Europe and collaborates with professionals involved in risk management. Today, it has 22 members from 20 different countries and continues to grow. Every two years, it holds its well-established Risk Management Forum, located in a different country each time, with the support of the local member association. It also organizes topic-specific seminars and surveys.
