17th April 2024 – Mumbai, India – Access to a new resource has been added to the PM World Library (PMWL) related to Knowledge Management. The new resource titled "Knowledge Management: A Review" is a paper by Dr. A. Arun Kumar and Uday Kumar and published in the International Journal of Academic Research in Social Sciences & Humanities in January-March 2015.
In their paper, Dr. A. Arun Kumar and Uday Kumar thoroughly explore how organizations manage knowledge. They show how knowledge management (KM) helps companies perform better and stay competitive, tracing its development from the 1970s to today. The article talks about creating, sharing, keeping, and using knowledge in organizations and the challenges that come with it. Using ICICI Bank as an example, they explain how knowledge management strategies can help with things like staff turnover and blending different company cultures during mergers. The article also suggests ways to make knowledge management work better, like connecting it with company goals and encouraging everyone to share what they know.
They also talk about how knowledge management can help businesses grow and become more competitive. By showing how to use knowledge better, companies can do better in the market. They thank people who helped with the article and give a long list of places where readers can learn more about the topic.
