Access to PMI website devoted to supporting Ukraine added to PM World Library
29 February 2024 – Philadelphia, PA, USA and Kyiv, Ukraine – A new resource has been added to the PM World Library (PMWL) related to rebuilding Ukraine. The new resource is titled “PMI: Solidarity with Ukraine” and is the section of the Project Management Institute (PMI) website devoted to Ukraine.
PMI, the world’s largest project management professional organization, has mobilized various chapters and constituencies in support of Ukraine since Russia’s invasion of that country in February 2022.
According to PMI’s webpage: “We at the Project Management Institute continue to be deeply disheartened by the senseless acts of violence and destruction stemming from the Russian invasion of Ukraine. We stand in solidarity with Ukrainian people. We support Eastern European members and volunteers during this time of crisis.”
Information on the webpage include operational updates related to Ukraine, PMI chapters in action (initiatives by individual PMI chapters around the world, including in Ukraine), stories about project managers in action, and other ways to support Ukraine (primarily through donations to aid agencies.)
To access this resource, go to the Solving Global Problems section of the PMWL at https://pmworldlibrary.net/solving-global-problems/. Under Solving Global Human and Social Problems, click on “Rebuilding Ukraine”, scroll down to Project Management Iniatives. Free access, registration and login not required.
