Access to Proceedings from 2016 project management conference at the University of Latvia added to PMWL

U of Latvia image - 150p15 May 2016 – Riga, Latvia – A new resource has been added to the PM World Library (PMWL) related to the P/PM profession.  The resource is titled “5th International Scientific Conference on Project Management in the Baltic Countries”.

The 5th International Scientific Conference on Project Management in the Baltic States was held in Riga, Latvia during 14-15 April 2016. Under the theme “Project Management Development – Practice and Perspectives”, the conference was held at the University of Latvia. The aim of the conference was to discuss results of scientific research in project management issues, to establish new contacts and networking between professionals involved in project management, and to enhance the capacity of project managers.

This is a particularly important aspect for Latvia, since the coming years will bring many large-scale projects both in railway reconstruction and big construction objects, such as the new concert hall, as well as various sizeable event organization.
