29 May 2016 – Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria – A new resource has been added to the PM World Library related to program management. The new resource is titled “Program Management Tools and Techniques”, providing a link to online resources provided by PM Guru.

Program Management is said to be the amalgamation of several related projects, or sub-projects, in other to achieve organizational strategic goals and objectives.  A program is normally a large multi-year, multi-deliverable effort that can often cost millions of dollars, with hundreds of people working on it. The recommendation for managing a program is normally to break it into a family of inter-related sub-projects that have their own project leaders and teams. The Program Manager's role includes overseeing the sub-projects, and managing their interfaces, relationships and other program-level matters.
