Inaugural AIPM Regional Project Management Conference in October 2016 in Sydney
14 April 2016 – Sydney, Australia – The Australian Institute of Project Management will hold an inaugural regional project management conference under the theme “Project Management: Building Capabilities” in Sydney during 16-19 October 2016. The conference is supported by the International Project Management Association (IPMA) and the Asia Pacific Federation of Project Management (apfpm) and is the first of its kind in the Asia Pacific region.
The 2016 conference will provide a unique opportunity to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the AIPM and have a glimpse of the history of project management in Australia. The program will delve into key issues for the AIPM membership and project managers across Australia and the broader Asia Pacific region. Key themes include strategy implementation; the project managers toolbox; futureproofing project management through enhanced resilience and sustainability; and building individuals’ capabilities to help them stand out from the crowd.
