Jouko Vaskimo reports on the recently concluded IPMA World Congress in Panama City
2 October 2015 – New in the Library – Jouko Vaskimo, International Editorial Advisor and Correspondent for PM World in Finland, has provided a report on the recently concluded IPMA world congress in Panama which he attended. The International Project Management Association (IPMA) holds a world congress each year somewhere in the world, bringing together some of the leading experts and practitioners in the project management field. Jouko’s report, full of great photos from the event, was published in October edition of the PM World Journal and added to the PM World Library this month.
According to Jouko’s introduction, “Mr Reinhard Wagner, International Project Management Association (IPMA) President, and Mr José E. Reyes G., Asociatión Panameńa de Gestion de Proyectos (APGP) President, opened the 29th IPMA World Congress at Panama City, Panama, on 28th September 2015. The theme of the 29th IPMA World Congress, the first one to be organized in the Americas, was The way to project management in a multicultural context. Mr Tom Taylor, Association for Project Management (APM) President, performed the duties of Master of Ceremonies at the congress plenary sessions, including opening and closing ceremonies…”
