Access to risk management specific interest group added to PMWL
15 April 2016 – Zagreb, Croatia - A new resource has been added to the PM World Library on the subject of Risk Management. The new resource is titled “Risk Management Specific Interest Group - RiskSIG.”
Originally chartered by PMI in 1996 but now independent, the RiskSIG’s mission is to establish and promote the principles of Risk Management as the foundation for effective Project Management, increase the knowledge of Risk Management and promote its tools and techniques through communication, education and networking and also among the RiskSIG members and involve its membership in the improvement of the tenets for Risk Management. They provide forums for the professional exchange of ideas on a myriad of topics related to the management of risk in projects, experts and practitioners from Public and Private sectors share their knowledge and experience and organize conferences for project risk practitioners. To become a member of the RiskSIG you only need to have an interest in risk management and subscribe on their web site, it is no longer necessary to be member of the PMI.
