5 April 2016 – Milan, Italy – A new resource has been added to the PM World Library related to renewable energy projects. The new resource is titled “Testing, Development and Demonstration of Large Scale Solar District Heating Systems”.

Presented at the International Conference on Solar Heating and Cooling for Buildings and Industry (SHC, May 2015), this study presents a crucial demonstration point for the Sino-Danish Renewable Energy Development Programme, a partnership jointly-developed by the two governments. The project was an opportunity to bring Danish knowledge on solar energy, and especially solar district heating, to Chinese players, thus promoting the testing of new capabilities in the sector in China and strengthening Sino-Danish cooperation for renewables development.

After having showcased the experience of the Nordic country in the field, the study presents the actors relevant to this project and which project activities were carried out, analysing the modes and needs of the various operations performed. The conclusion is a confirmation of the validity of such a program and its ability to foster knowledge-sharing.

To access this new resource, go to Industries and Organizations section of the library at https://pmworldlibrary.net/industries-and-organizations/, click on “Renewable Energy”, scroll down to resource.  Must be a registered member and logged-in to access.
