Access to useful new research resource added to PM World Library
17 June 2019 – Dallas, London, Sydney – A new resource of potential use to project management researchers has been added to the PM World Library (PMWL). The resource is titled “The Best Search Engines of 2019” and is an article by Paul Gil posted in February on lifewire.com.
According to the author, most people don't want three dozen search engines, especially people who are not trained internet users. Most people want a single search engine that delivers three key features:
- Relevant results (results you are actually interested in)
- Uncluttered, easy-to-read interface
- Helpful options to broaden or tighten a search
With these criteria in mind, the author recommends nine powerful search engines that should meet 99 percent of the searching needs of a regular user.
To access this resource, go to the P/PM Research Resources section of the library at https://pmworldlibrary.net/ppm-databases-and-research-resources/, click on Search Engines, scroll down to articles. Must be a registered Trial or Professional Member and logged in to access.
