The Major Projects Authority (MPA) is a collaboration between the Cabinet Office, HM Treasury and departments, and has the fundamental aim of significantly improving the delivery success rate of major projects across the UK's central government. Launched on 31 March 2011, the MPA aims to address the findings from the National Audit Office’s report Assurance of high risk projects and from the Major Projects Review 2010.
